APM WON PAD AWARDS AS THE BEST STEVEDORE BOTH IN 2020 AND IN 2021
Every year, the Douala Port Authorities reward the best companies in different sectors of port activities through awards based on criterias clearly defined. These awards are released by the Ministry of Transport and Port Authorities in Douala, 2020 awards were given in June 2021 and 2021 awards given in April 2022.
There are several awards among which Agence de Prestations Maritimes, member of Africa Logistics Network representing Cameroon and Chad, has the following:
- THE BEST SHIPPING AGENT
In 2021, APM was the 2nd after BOLLORÉ LOGISTICS.
– Number of vessels handled as Agent during the year.
– Complaints from Masters/Owners.
– Payment of port and other fees in due time.
- THE BEST STEVEDORING COMPANY
APM is the First company since the awards are implemented in 2020 and it won the awards as the
Best Stevedoring company both in 2020 and in 2021.
The selection criterias were:
– Number and type of vessels handled during the year.
– Tonnage/volume handled during the year.
– Warehousing activities inside the port.
– Quantity and quality of needful equipment.
– Payments of port and other fees in due time.
